Universidad Central del Caribe

The Institute of Research Education and Services of Addiction (IRESA) of the Universidad Central del Caribe, primary purpose is to promote and develop research, education, and services for substance use and other behavioral health disorders in Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and the Latino communities in the United States. Located in Bayamon, PR, UCC IRESA is the primary partner of the NeC-ATTC, currently houses the National Hispanic and Latino Mental Health Technology Transfer Center (2017-present), and directs Opioid Response Network (ORN) team in the Caribbean. IRESA’s staff has worked with high-risk communities in the Caribbean and abroad for 30+ years and is highly respected.
